PRODUCT
POLY-PAC-UZ is a polyanionic cellulose ether described for drilling-fluid applications. The reference specification distinguishes HV and LV grades and describes a fine-grained powder ranging from white to cream in colour.
The main grade distinction in the displayed table is the viscosity requirement under a defined test condition. The two grades also have different minimum degrees of polymerization. These properties should be considered together when preparing a technical comparison.
DRILLING APPLICATIONS
The catalogue identifies the product as a drilling-fluid stabilizer for oil and gas wells and for geological exploration of solid minerals. It also describes applications in deep wells, including projects involving elevated pressure, temperature and mineral-salt content.
An enquiry should identify the intended drilling application and the operator's acceptance specification. The catalogue's general application description does not establish a particular project's temperature, salinity or performance limit. Any project-specific qualification requirements should be included in the technical review.
HV AND LV SPECIFICATIONS
Both grades have a maximum water content of 10%. Main-substance content is at least 60% on an absolutely dry-product basis. Water solubility, also expressed on an absolutely dry-product basis, is at least 96% for each grade.
For an aqueous polymer solution with a mass fraction of 0.5% at 20 °C, the HV grade has a minimum dynamic viscosity of 70 mPa·s. The LV grade has a maximum dynamic viscosity of 50 mPa·s. The reference identifies a viscometer diameter of 0.73 mm as part of the test description.
The hydrogen index of a 1.0% aqueous polymer solution is specified at pH 8.0 or above for both grades. Minimum degree of polymerization is 700 for HV and 600 for LV. A viscosity value should always be compared with its stated solution concentration and test method.
PACKAGING
The catalogue lists paper bags, woven bags and polyethylene bags, with a polyethylene film liner included in the documented packaging options. No single bag weight is established on the product page.
Specify the required package construction, net weight and total shipment quantity. The proposed packaging and any receiving-site requirements should be confirmed in the quotation.
REQUEST A QUOTATION
For a professional drilling-industry enquiry, provide HV or LV grade, quantity, delivery destination and application. Attach the required fluid-additive specification, including viscosity method, reporting basis and any project qualification criteria.
Identify the preferred package and supporting documents required by the operator or contractor. The quotation should confirm the grade, complete acceptance specification, packaging and delivery terms for the requested project.
