PRODUCT
Sodium bicarbonate is described in the reference specification as an odourless, white crystalline powder. The product is also commonly identified in the catalogue as baking soda. Its reference standard is GOST 2156-76.
Two grades are shown: first grade and second grade. Both are specified by assay and a set of impurity limits. An enquiry should identify the required grade and end use, especially where the customer's quality system includes requirements beyond the reference table.
DOCUMENTED APPLICATIONS
The catalogue lists chemical, food and light-industry applications, together with non-ferrous metallurgy. It also identifies medical and pharmacological industry categories. These broad descriptions do not establish a pharmaceutical, food-contact or other regulatory approval for a particular consignment.
For professional ingredient procurement, provide the relevant end-use specification and certification requirements. A purchase for chemical processing may need a different acceptance package from one intended for food manufacturing, even when both enquiries use the same common product name.
GRADE SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum sodium bicarbonate content is 99.5% for first grade and 99.0% for second grade. Sodium carbonate is limited to 0.4% and 0.7%, respectively. Chlorides are limited to 0.02% for first grade and 0.04% for second grade.
Maximum iron content is 0.001% for first grade and 0.005% for second grade. Maximum calcium content is 0.04% and 0.05%. Moisture is limited to 0.1% and 0.2%, in the same grade order.
The reference sulphate limits are 0.025% for first grade and 0.02% for second grade. These values should be compared individually rather than assuming that every second-grade limit is higher. Arsenic and water-insoluble substances are specified through pass criteria under the referenced standard's test provisions, rather than through numerical limits on this product page.
PACKAGING
Documented packaging includes four- or five-layer paper bags and specified single-use containers. The catalogue also provides for export packaging requirements to be agreed. It does not establish one universal package weight for all of these formats.
State the package construction and net weight required by your receiving site. The quotation should confirm the proposed format and the total shipment quantity.
REQUEST A QUOTATION
Provide first or second grade, required quantity, delivery destination and intended application. Attach the customer's acceptance specification, including any ingredient, trace-impurity or documentation requirements.
For a professional industrial enquiry, identify the preferred package and the certificates or batch test results needed for approval. Final grade selection, packaging, documentation and commercial terms should be confirmed for the specific supply request.
