Product Overview
Weak nitric acid is listed in three quality grades under the reference Ts 00203068-08:2013. The grades differ in minimum acid content and in the permitted levels of nitrogen oxides and residue after ignition. These distinctions provide a useful basis for industrial buyers preparing a product enquiry.
The reference appearance is a colourless or yellow liquid without mechanical impurities. The catalogue identifies the product in the mineral fertilizer sector and for industrial use. The required concentration, impurity limits and intended application should be stated together when requesting a quotation.
Grade Comparison
The highest grade has a minimum nitric acid mass fraction of 57.0%. The first grade has a minimum of 56.0%, and the second grade has a minimum of 46.0%. These are minimum specification values. Buyers requiring a particular concentration range should include that range in their enquiry for confirmation.
Nitrogen oxides, expressed as N2O4, are limited to a maximum of 0.07% for the highest grade, 0.1% for the first grade and 0.2% for the second grade. Residue after ignition is limited to 0.004%, 0.02% and 0.05% respectively.
Specification Review
Concentration alone does not define the complete grade. For example, a buyer comparing products with similar acid content may also need to assess the nitrogen oxide and residue limits. Referencing the grade and all relevant acceptance limits helps make the purchasing requirement clear.
If your internal specification uses a different terminology, concentration basis or analytical method, include a copy with the enquiry. The quotation should identify the exact grade and agreed specification for the proposed order.
Packaging
The documented packaging formats include glass cylinders, barrels, stainless-steel vessels and tanks. The appropriate quoted format depends on the requested quantity and delivery arrangement and should be confirmed for the particular enquiry.
Buyers should state the destination and preferred packing format, together with any labelling or shipment-document requirements. The quotation can then address the specification and packaging as parts of the same order requirement.
Request A Quotation
Provide the required grade, quantity, destination and application. Include the desired nitric acid concentration and the maximum nitrogen oxide and ignition-residue limits accepted by your process. If you have a purchasing specification, share it with the enquiry. Request confirmation of the grade, quality limits and packaging in the quotation so that the proposed product can be reviewed against your technical and commercial requirements.
